Wineskin is a tool used to make ports of Windows software to Mac OS X. The ports are in the form of normal Mac application bundle wrappers. It works like a wrapper around the Windows software, and you can share just the wrappers if you choose. WineBottler packages Windows-based programs snugly into OS X app-bundles. No need to install emulators or operating systems - WineBottler uses the great open-source tool Wine to run the binaries on your Mac. You'll be able to get 2.6.1 in Wineskin Winery as an updated wrapper. Sorry for the long delay, and not having these issues fixed before El Capitan was released. If you get stuck with a wrapper that just goes 'Cannot be opened' then Right click in the wrapper and select Open the first time you run it.
